When it is not the right fit
Millo is not an enterprise ERP, a bookkeeping system or a payroll remittance service. It currently needs an Apple-silicon Mac running macOS 13 or newer in the office. A company that wants every record hosted by a vendor, or that needs Windows today, should use another product.

What is construction job costing?
Construction job costing assigns labour, materials, subcontractors and other costs to the job and budget line that caused them. Comparing those costs with the contract value and invoices shows what has been billed, what is still unbilled and whether the job is running past its price.
Does Millo replace QuickBooks or other accounting software?
No. Millo organizes operational job records and produces figures laid out for accounting software. The accounting system remains responsible for the general ledger, bank reconciliation, tax filings and payroll remittances.
Can construction crews track time from their phones?
Yes. Crew members open Millo in a current phone browser, choose a job, clock in and out, and add notes or photos. Their completed shift reaches the office job record.
Can Millo track fixed-price and cost-plus jobs?
Yes. Both use the same underlying hours, bills, invoices and change orders. Fixed-price work emphasizes the room left inside the contract value; cost-plus work emphasizes complete, current cost records for billing.
Is Millo cloud construction software?
No. Millo runs on the customer's office computer and keeps its records there. Other devices use browsers to reach that computer. Remote job-site access can use the customer's own Cloudflare account.
