Construction software without a subscription
Millo is construction management and job-costing software sold as a one-time company licence. There is no monthly fee, no per-user price and no Millo account holding the company's records.
What “no subscription” means here
- The company pays US$450 once for its Millo licence.
- The licence does not expire and includes unlimited sign-ins inside that company.
- Updates to Millo 1 are included at no charge.
- Stopping a separate internet or AI service does not lock the company out of its Millo records.
- A refund ends the licence, but the company's records remain in its own folder.
The trade-off: the company owns the responsibility too
Millo runs on a Mac the company owns or controls. That computer must stay on for crew phones and other office devices to reach it. The company chooses a backup drive, checks the backups and replaces the computer when necessary. Millo does not keep a rescue copy in the cloud.

No-subscription construction software questions
Is Millo really a one-time purchase?
Yes. The core Millo licence is a one-time purchase for one company. It does not expire, has no per-user fee and includes updates to Millo 1.
Can Millo raise the monthly price later?
There is no monthly price for the core licence to raise. If a future Millo 2 is sold, the current licence and installed version continue to work under the terms that came with the purchase.
Can the company export or keep its records?
The records already live on the company's computer. Millo can export operational information and produces PDFs, while nightly backups copy the full record set to a customer-chosen folder.
Does Millo stop working without the internet?
The office computer and devices on its local network continue to use the core software. Online services such as remote access or a cloud AI provider need an internet connection.
Why would a builder choose local software instead of cloud software?
Local software can avoid recurring per-user fees and keeps the primary records under the builder's control. The trade-off is that the builder is responsible for the computer, backups and remote-access setup.
