Field Partner Program

Use it honestly. Say what should improve.

These are the program terms selected applicants receive before joining the eight-week feedback pilot.

What the program is for

The Millo Field Partner Program is a limited product-feedback pilot. It helps Millo understand how small residential builders and renovators use the software on active work.

Selection

Applicants must be authorized to act for the company named in the application. Selection is based on product fit, technical readiness, active work, ability to participate and program capacity. Applying does not guarantee selection. Millo does not select participants for promising praise, public promotion, referrals or a social following.

What a selected company commits to

  • Complete a short baseline questionnaire or session.
  • Use Millo on at least one active job during the eight-week pilot.
  • Complete three short feedback check-ins.
  • Report serious defects or data concerns promptly.
  • Follow Millo's normal software terms and reasonable security instructions.
  • Keep client, worker and project personal information out of feedback unless it is properly authorized and shared through an approved secure route.

Feedback may be positive, negative or mixed. Accurate criticism is not a breach of these terms.

The complimentary licence

After the company accepts these terms and completes the baseline step, Millo provides one complimentary standard licence for Millo's core software. The licence is for the accepted company, is not transferable or for resale, and remains governed by Millo's software terms.

The licence is not withdrawn because feedback is negative. If a participant stops taking part, Millo may end program services and future program benefits, but any treatment of the software licence follows the written software terms.

Feedback and product improvements

The participant keeps ownership of its business information. The participant gives Millo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use feedback, ideas and suggestions to evaluate and improve Millo without identifying the participant publicly. Millo is not required to implement a suggestion or promise a release date.

Product roadmaps and pre-release details identified as confidential must not be published without permission.

Reviews, testimonials and case studies

The program does not require a review, social post, referral, testimonial or case study. Millo will not use a participant's name, company name, logo, image, quote or story in marketing without separate written approval for the proposed use.

If a participant chooses to comment publicly about Millo, it must clearly disclose that Millo provided a complimentary licence for feedback. A suitable disclosure is: Millo provided my company with a complimentary licence as part of its Field Partner feedback program. These are my honest views.

Possible future affiliate program

This is not an affiliate agreement. Millo may create a separate affiliate program later and may invite some Field Partners to apply. An invitation is not guaranteed, participation is optional, and selection will not depend on positive feedback.

Any affiliate arrangement requires a separate agreement covering commission, tracking, returns, payment, permitted promotion and termination. Affiliate content must clearly disclose the commission relationship near the link or recommendation.

Privacy

Millo uses application and participant information to assess applicants, administer the program, provide support and meet legal obligations. General marketing email requires separate consent. The privacy policy explains storage, service providers, retention and privacy choices.

No legal partnership

“Field Partner” is the program name. It does not create a legal partnership, agency, employment, franchise, fiduciary relationship or joint venture. Participants cannot make commitments on Millo's behalf.

Ending participation

Either side may stop participation by written notice. Millo may pause or end participation for misuse, a security risk, false application information or repeated failure to take part. Ending participation does not authorize either side to use the other's name, logo or statements in marketing.

The rest of it

The normal Millo software terms, warranty limits and Ontario governing-law provisions continue to apply to the software. If these program terms conflict with the software terms about the licence or software, the software terms control.
